This resource page is designed to assist our Cubbies Directors/Leaders around the entire Awana World! Please feel free to submit your ideas, suggestions, helpful hints for the Cubbies program tothe Webmaster.

Many of the resources have been saved in the Adobe Acrobat format to preserve the exact appearance of the document. Viewing PDF requires a free Acrobat reader. Other resources have been provided in Microsoft Word format to allow local customization, which of course requires a word processor capable of understanding the MS Word format.

Jumper Book (2005-2006 season)

Jumper Lesson Super Guide (MS Excel format) - A comprehensive guide summarizing every Jumper Bear Hug (including optional days) with a suggested coming in time activities, snacks, games, crafts, and other activities to tie the theme into every aspect of the club night. Distributed in a Microsoft Excel format to allow local customization.

Jumper Felts (PDF format) - A listing of the felts needed for each Jumper lesson.

Jumper Year At-a-Glance (PDF format) - A list of Celebration topics, verses, and themes to help leaders prepare for the Jumper club year.

Song Suggestions for Jumper Celebration lesson plans (PDF format) - Created by Fairy Hatten as a Conference workshop handout, this suggests praise and worship songs to correspond with each Jumper lesson throughout the year. Includes recommended song books!

Jumper Verse Guide for Leaders (PDF format) - a summary of all verses in the Hopper book.

Hopper Lesson Super Guide (PDF format) - A comprehensive guide summarizing every Hopper Bear Hug (including optional days) with a suggested coming in time activities, snacks, games, crafts, and other activities to tie the theme into every aspect of the club night. Snack Suggestions for Hopper Celebration lesson plans (PDF format) - This chart suggests snacks to correspond with each Hopper lesson throughout the year.

Hopper Material Order Guide (MS Excel format) - An interactive spreadsheet that creates a suggested supply order to start the 2004-2005 season based upon the number of Cubbies expected in your club. A MS Word document is also available that recommends additional items to order for your Cubbie program.

Cubbie Leadership Training Test: Deb del Villar has created a South Central version of the Cubbie Basic Training Test - MS Word format and the corresponding Answer Key - MS Word format.

Customize Cubbie Program Brochure (MS Word format): Now available to personalize and make into a booklet for parents. Download document, personalize for your club, then copy back to back, staple in middle, and then fold in half. Recently updated with graphics for easy customization in your local club.

Jumper achievement slip: Two variations/options for leaders to use to track Cubbie progress and turn in to director. Microsoft Word format.

Meet the Pastor Night: An evening plan for a "Meet the Pastor" night for Cubbie parents... submitted by a Cubbie leader. A letter to the pastor's wife is also available.

Resource List: Includes suggested materials to help in craft, game time, and story time as well as general teaching resources.

Christmas Story using Cookie Cutters: Adapted from Emile Barnes' Twelve Christmas Teas, this provides a Christmas lesson using cookie cutter. Available as a web page or a PDF file for distribution.
Craft Recipe Cards: Several recipes for creating dough or paint from scratch and dyeing pasta.
A Parent's Prayer Program: Borrowed from the Focus on the Family magazine, it provides 30 different prayers parents can pray specifically for their children.
